In this book, the author continues and completes the restoration of the Theory of Mediation model, begun in his previous work. This restoration is necessary because the TdM model was affected by a structural flaw.
A flaw rooted in the defective modelling of rhetoric, which developed into an erroneous conception of knowledge. Before restoring it, Adrien Morel begins by demonstrating it. For mediationists deny the very existence of this malformation. From now on, they will no longer be able to ignore it.
Defective precisely because it is ideological, and not mythical as the model would have it. Indeed, the flaw originates in the confusion between myth and ideology. Rhetoric, hypertrophied, is unduly assigned a section of human reality that belongs to the Person. And for what purpose? Because mediationists spare God, for some; the party, the union, the ministry or secularism, for others. All are hypostases prior to the theory, whose aseity the theory restructures. This is what they carefully avoided. Jean Gagnepain and his first disciples, in fact, preferred to counterfeit their theory rather than lay down all their former affiliations and competences before entering into epistemology.
