In this book, Adrien Morel establishes and organises the different dimensions of knowledge and disciplines.

This concerns their definition, but also their relationship to the Theory of Mediation. Ideological knowledge, fundamental knowledge and applied knowledge do indeed run through the theory without being identified or delimited within it, leaving it, in its 1.0 version — that of Gagnepain — riddled with malformations. Here, the author completes its restoration.

Through the reworking of its foundations, in the course of an important development devoted to perception. Perception here frees itself from language and finds its place outside the Gestalt. As a result, representation loses its object. This enables information and institution to take their bearings. Quite literally, in fact, since the reciprocity of the faces of the Person is also clarified and modelled here.

Meanwhile, the dimension of civilization — the author’s central concern and guiding thread — is given a new presentation here, starting from knowledge and extending all the way to the definition of the next right and left of our civilization.
